Hot chocolate coulis

Ingredients

  • 180 ml (3/4 cup) cream (35%).
  • 180 g (6 oz.) semi-sweetened chocolate, finely chopped
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) soft butter

Preparation

  • In a small saucepan, heat the cream until small bubbles form on the surface.
  • Remove pan from heat.
  • Add the chocolate and stir until it melts.
  • Stir in the butter.
  • Refrigerate for about 15 minutes or until mixture has slightly thickened (stir once).
